SMA-Pasay 30 Years Na...Humihirit Pa! Part 2: Prepping for the Batch Events

The day before the main event, a welcome dinner was hosted by Bernadette Perez-Cortina at their house in Paranaque to organize all the things we needed to prepare.

Generous batch mates donated stuff like toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, colognes, notebooks, pens, snacks, and books. We had to pack fifty loot bags to be given to our sponsored children...

Thanks, Grace Tee, for the free blue batch t-shirts! But hey, please pay for your white batch shirts, ok?

We couldn't wipe out the smiles on our faces...

Our two travelling bear mascots, Mari and Ria, were all geared up in blue uniforms...

We also had to practice a song we would use to pay tribute to our teachers.

"Especially for you..I wanna let you know what I was feeling too....
All the time that we're apart I think of you...You were in my heart...
My love never changed...I still feel the same..."

All set for tomorrow's main event!

Meanwhile, my close friends--Edna, Clara, Mary Rose, Melizza, Cecilie--and I went home to my house in Las Pinas for a sleepover. We arrived at almost 12 midnight, hungry and exhausted. But that didn't stop us from drinking some red wine, putting on some facial masks, and laughing the night away.

We had a big day ahead of us in a few hours...

To be continued...
